If any of you still go to the hall. The secretary may come up to you and ask for a copy of your blood card so he can put it in the congregation file that they have on you, he will also want emergency contact info from you just in case they are looking for you if you fade away or there is a natural disaster in the area. So keep that in mind if you are about to transfer congregations.

I committed un-suicide yesterday
by AlmightyDog inyesterday i opened my wallet and took a long look at the (no) blood card prominently displayed inside.
i have been convinced that this is not the truth for a couple of years now, and am trying to figure out whether to fade or da.
it hit me hard yesterday that with this piece of paper in my wallet, i could possibly end up dying for beliefs i no longer hold.

I've been outed...
by brotherdan inso this weekend my wife had a major grand mal seizure for the first time in her life.
she was rushed to the er.
a few hours later while i was at her side she had another major one.. it was the scariest moment in my life.

I feel for you bro. Hang in there & stop talking about the organization with your wife. You cannot make her leave and you cannot make her believe what you believe if she is not ready. If she likes the hall and the so called friends you will have to respect that for now. Let the brothers df you if you dont care anymore. Just accept the fact that you will be looked down upon for a long time by her family and the people at the hall who know the situation. Try to keep the peace at all cost and stay reasonable when dealing with her and her family.

If you want to celebrate the holidays, vote, gamble, have sex outside of marriage, smoke or do many other things JW's dont do with peace of mind you must DA or you will get get caught or ratted on by some other witness at some point and they will DF you on the spot. If you want to fade in peace and can stay away from watchtower defined sins just keep playing by there rules and be miserable, but at least some will still associate with you if you are not DF or DA. You will just be viewed as a weak publishers in strong witnesses minds. 1 Cor. 15:33
